Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Hispanic heritage. She attended, FDR High School, and Kingsborough Community College. She was a Bookkeeper for 15 years. She is also a Singer and Songwriter. In May 1990 Ms Perez completed certification in Professional Telephone Skills seminar Sponsored by New York Telephone/NYNEX Company and in April 1999 attended a Holistic Hardware Leadership Training-Sponsored by "Here's Life Inner City in New York. In expanding her education, she also attended Willsey Institute in 2001 for Nursing, Phlebotomy, and EKG certification. Relocated to Florida in 2003. She has training in, HIV 500/501 Client Centered Counselor, Tester including training in Domestic Violence, and HIV Transmission, Prevention and Legal Issues. Advocate, Speaker,volunteer for nonprofit organizations, and HIV support group facilitator in Seminole County. Executive Director to the nonprofit organization EASY ACCESS RESOURCE, assisting individuals with resources who are medically frail in providing resource needs in crisis situations.
Recognized on February 8, 2007 by Heart of Florida and The Central Florida AIDS Planning Consortium, Venus Perez was awarded the "UNSUNG HERO AWARD" in recognition of her valuable contributions in advocating for the needs of People Living with HIV/AIDS, impacting communities within which they live, and exhibiting a commitment to preventing the spread of HIV infection through outreach and education.

She was, an appointed member to the Orlando Eligible Metropolitan areas EMA HIV Health Services Planning Council, and CFAP Consortia. Representative to the Seminole County Community. Involved with the Longwood Police Department in assistance with Senior Elder Services. A Sponsor to Joyce Meyer Ministries, Children’s Miracle Network, International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, and a contributor to Life Outreach Ministries and The American Red Cross. Volunteer for the Coalition for the Homeless in Central Florida. She is a Christian
